Part 3 of 3 for Katie and Brady’s Wedding Day that took place on August 8, 2008.

We had the opportunity to do more photos with the wedding party after dinner before we headed to the community centre for dancing. Here are some photographs we did at the lighthouse and pier:

Still loving those emerald green dresses!

I love this one.

And this one!

I love the emotion that was captured throughout the first few dances.

I just loved this photograph of Brady’s mom when she was dancing with Brady.

These centerpieces were fabulous!

Thanks for tuning into Katie and Brady’s wedding experience!

Part 2 of 3.

Here are some snippets from Katie and Brady’s dinner reception:

Just LOVED this “cake”! Whoever made this (and I wish I could remember who) has alot of patience!

Yummy.

The speeches were very funny and very emotional including this one by Brady’s bestman.  He wrote an awesome poem about his friendship with Brady.  I thought it was extremely impressive!

And no one will EVER forget Katie’s maid of honour! You had to be there, but let’s just say it was a really good thing Amanda’s speech wasn’t recorded on audio!

This speech was a total tear jerker. So many people were in tears. It was actually Brady’s mom’s speech that was read by one of Brady’s younger brothers (with help from his Aunt and a bridesmaid). I could see why Brady’s mom has someone else read it - it was so emotional.

By the way, wasn’t the emerald green colour of the bmaid’s dresses awesome?  The shiny material made that colour POP!

And here are some tears.

And more tears.

Welcome to Part 1 of 3 for 08.08.08 - Katie and Brady’s wedding.  Their wedding was actually a Destination Wedding for them as they travelled all the way from Australia to become man and wife.

Kate is Australian. Brady is from Lion’s Head, Ontario which is waaaaay up in the Northern Bruce Peninsula. I LOVE the NBP!  I would certainly welcome the opportunity to shoot a wedding there again.

Kate and Brady had a beautiful wedding day.  It was raining in many other areas of Ontario on 08.08.08, but not Lion’s Head.  Yay!

Here is a snippet from the getting ready stages to our post-photo session just before dinner time.

(If you haven’t already done so, check out their engagement session!)

“That’s my husband!” said Kate.

The Wall of Fame. Everyone signs this wall that has their wedding photos taken here. This beautiful property belongs to one of Brady’s former school teachers.

One of my fav’s.

And one of my other fav’s.

Stay tuned for Part 2 and 3.

Natalie and Sandy were married on October 4th, a lovely fall day. But first…..here are some photos from their engagement session back in July!

This was the photo Natalie and Sandy had matted and framed and used for signing at their reception, along with their Guest Book.

Here are some page designs from Natalie and Sandy’s Guest Signing Book. This is the front and back covers - front cover on the right, back cover on the left.

A few weeks ago, I received a phone call from The Canadian Press. Reporter Tamara King was putting together a story on Trash-the-Dress sessions and asked if I was able to do a small interview with her.  I of course said “yes”. Tamara was also looking for photographs and a bride to interview for the story so I passed along Jennifer (and Yuron’s) info.  I had the extreme pleasure of photographing Jenn and Yuron’s wedding day and trash-the-dress session in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic at the Majestic Colonial Resort back in January 2008.

And look what made the front cover of the Lifewise section at Canoe.ca today!  Taa daa!  That’s Jenn and Yuron!

This a screenshot of the article itself. Click here to read the full article and quotes from Jenn on Canoe.ca!

The article also made The Kitchener Record - TheRecord.com along with TheDailyGleaner.com, The Cape Breton Post, The Red Deer Advocate and TheChronicleHerald.ca.

Canoe.ca also put together a gallery of Trash-the-Dress wedding photographs and Kelly and Jared’s photos were featured in the gallery as well!

Click here to view the entire gallery featuring other fantastic TTD images from other fantastic photographers.

A big thanks to Jenn and Yuron!
