On Thursday August 21 (2008), I finally had the extreme privilege of meeting Melanie and Jeremy at their pre-wedding dinner which was held at Blue Mountain Resorts in Collingwood.

Melanie and Jeremy are fellow Canadians working abroad in Nicaragua so we had only communicated via email since I first received an email from Melanie back in November 2007. I was very excited about covering this special evening for them - it was a nice family only get-together at a rented house in Blue Mountain.

Here is a brief overview of the companionship, laughter, food, drinks and croquet during this beautiful summer evening.
