August 23, 2008 - Melanie and Jeremy’s wedding day! The last Saturday in August (that’s not the labour day weekend) is always by far the most popular wedding day of the year. Melanie and Jeremy’s big day was held at the top of Blue Mountain in Collingwood. The view was absolutely stunning to say the least. Here is a snippet from their day…..

I started off the day at Strands Hair Salon.

Before the ceremony, I did photos with Melanie and Jeremy in The Village at Blue Mountain.

At the top of Blue Mountain, I arrived to an absolutely amazing decorated wedding tent!

Melanie and Jeremy went to ALOT of effort with this - especially all the little potted plants at each setting.

Jeremy eagerly awaiting his bride to walk down the aisle.

As I mentioned in a previous post, Melanie and Jeremy are working in Nicaragua so this 4 person band was very appropriate!

This was one of my favourite captured moments from their day - that’s Melanie’s mom on the right and Jeremy’s mom on the left. Too cute.

The 6pm ceremony gave awesome light to work with. No squinting at this time of day!

I love the little insect soaring through the air here.

We had amazing weather throughout the day, but it got really stormy around dinner time. The storm clouds coming in across the town of Collingwood was an amazing sight to see and experience from the top of the mountain. It eventually made it’s way up to us and poured rain and also got extremely windy. But that’s what tents are for!

The lead singer of the band sure knew how to get people singing and dancing! I absolutely loved this photo of Melanie and Jeremy.

Congratulations to Melanie and Jeremy!
I will be posting a slideshow soon with many more photos from their wedding day.

These are awesome. I love the far shots of the bride and groom. I also love the action/dancing images. Great job!
