It’s been tough keeping this a secret, but the press just hit the stands today!

Back in January I found out that Jenn and Jimmy were being interviewed by Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine for their “Real Brides, Real Advice” section! J & J were married at the Majestic Colonial Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on January 16, 2008. One year later they were being interviewed by America’s leading destination wedding publication (yes, it is published in the U.S. and appears on newsstands 4 times per year).  Destination Weddings & Honeymoons is the number one (U.S.) national magazine devoted exclusively to romantic travel and weddings away!  It is a privilege for me to be a part of this fantastic publication and a big thanks goes to Jenn and Jimmy for taking the time out of their busy schedule as first-time parents for the interview.

Jenn & Jimmy bottom right on page 20.

If you are out and about, this is the cover to look for on newsstands (please note: I did NOT photograph this cover - let’s not start rumours!).  It is the Spring 2009 issue.

P.S. In case you missed it, one of Amy & Allen’s wedding photos (Grand Palladium Resorts, Punta Cana, D.R. - 01.11.08) was published in the Spring/Summer 2009 issue of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine.

P.P.S. In case you also missed it, Jenn & Yuron (Majestic Colonial Resort, Punta Cana, D.R. - 01.26.08) were interviewed by The Canadian Press for Trash-the-Dress sessions.

On Saturday September 20, 2008 Chrissy and Guy were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Collingwood.  It was another wonderful September day with marvelous weather.

I started off the day at Chrissy and Guy’s cottage at Lora Bay just outside of Thornbury and without further adieu…..(I’ll let the images speak for themselves).

Chrissy’s beautiful ivory dress.

Loved this one of Chrissy!

A super sophisticated bride.

Chrissy’s dad.

St. Mary’s.

That’s Guy.

This reception room at Raven Golf Club was extremely elegant and classy.

The Guest Signing Book featuring Chrissy and Guy’s engagement session.

The wedding party.

Guy’s mom.

As usual, Guy is always so friendly.

One happy Guy!

One of my absolute fav’s.

And another fav.

Congratulations to Chrissy and Guy! It was a pleasure being a part of your day : )

It seems like it’s been a “dog’s age” since I posted Jennifer and Geoff’s E-Session sneak preview.  But here is the official post!

Jennifer, Geoffrey and their dog Yoshi met with me at Eugenia Falls for their engagement session back in September.  Here are a few photos from the session.  Enjoy!

Isn’t Yoshi sweet?

I loved Jennifer’s awesome SUEDE shoes.

GQ Geoffrey!

This was my personal favourite.

Jennifer and Geoffrey were married in Bala on Thanksgiving weekend. I will be posting about that soon!

Some photos from Andrea and Dave’s wedding reception……

The introduction of Mr. and Mrs.

After dinner, we went outside by the water for a few more photos of Andrea and Dave just as the sun was setting.

This photo was used for their wedding website.

The slideshow had some hilarious flashbacks from the past. I won’t post the super hilarious flashbacks of Dave’s mullet though - LOL. Seen in this photo above is Dave on the left.

Andrea was a little Shirley Temple of the 80’s.

The first dance was completely choreographed. Andrea and Dave had been taking lessons. It was totally impressive!

Fireworks! They were somewhat dangerous though. One flew over that hill behind Andrea and Dave and hit me right in the knee - thankfully I did not set of fire.

Roasting marshmallows.

Andrea’s reactions to the garter find were priceless.

Congratulations Andrea and Dave!

Saturday September 6, 2008 was one of those days with saturating blue skies along with killer puffy clouds….the ones that remind of you of yummy cotton candy.

I had the pleasure of spending 12 hours with Andrea and Dave on their wedding day; from the hair salon to the fireworks and beyond. Here is a glimpse from their special wedding day.

Looooooved this one of Dave!  Very dramatic.

The rock was hand-carved specially for Andrea and Dave with their first initials.

You had to be there but I found it amusing the way this gentleman was looking at the bouquet of flowers.  It was as if flowers were something completely new to him - LOL.

Andrea’s little jacket could not have been more perfect for her!

Normally those aren’t 2 Canadian flags. It is usually 1 Canadian and 1 American, but Andrea said Dave would have kittens if there was a U.S. flag in his wedding photos so the owners of Waterview were so kind to change that : )

Andrea is a very talented and creative person. Aside from making stained glass, she also makes jewellery and made different necklaces and earrings for all of her bridesmaids.

We went to a private property off the resort grounds for a few more photos with the wedding party.

A very happy couple.

I think the solo photos of Andrea speak for themselves - this was one of my fav’s (along with the rest that I posted).

A very romantic couple.

I fondly remember Andrea telling me that Dave looks like a mannequin in photos - I think she’s right : )

I will be posting more photos soon from Andrea and Dave’s reception.

In case you missed out previously, here is Andrea and Dave’s engagement session in Guelph.

Andrea asked me if I would do some sassy photos of her on their wedding day as a surprise for Dave. These would be done in the upstairs portion of the hair salon (”Hair Body and Soul” in Owen Sound), so I said “sure!”.

So after Andrea’s hair was complete and jewellery was in place, we headed to the 2nd level of the hair salon where there were a few more rooms.  The one we used had super cool textured wallpaper with a lovely leather lounger - perfect!

Finishing touches.

Taa Daa!

This was one of my fav’s.

So thanks to Andrea, I will now be offering Mini Boudoir Sessions for your wedding day. I thought this was a fantastic idea - thanks Andrea!
