Taa Daa!! Alexis and Cam’s wedding day storybook! I have been dying to share this with you. It was a surprise until Christmas because Alexis and Cam ordered 2 editions for their parents as Christmas gifts (as well as one for themselves).

This is a 9×12 Fine Art Coffee Table Book with 15 spreads. The page spreads are printed on beautiful fine art archival matte paper that are smudge proof and water resistant.  The pages lay completely flat when opened so there is no “gutter” in the spreads.  As a little bonus, these books are produced very quickly.  Once I send in the files to the printers, the book usually ships out within 5 days plus another 3 days in transit to come from the U.S.

Here is the complete design from start to finish of A & C’s book! But first….

Alexis and Cam wanted their storybook to keep within the colour theme/scheme of their wedding which was black and white. I thought it would be neat to use elements from their wedding invitation as well so we emulated the little design element from left side of their invitation on the front and back covers of their actual wedding book!

Front cover is on the right, back cover is on the left (this is how it wraps around during binding).

Spread 1.

The grand finale of the book.

And this is the actual finished product. Taa daa! It arrives in a sleek black satiny pouch.

Front and back covers.

The spine of the book so when it sits on the shelf you can see what the book is about!

This is truly a remarkable style of book. Unfortunately, my photos of the book don’t do the book justice as it’s always better to see and touch a book in person. However, if you love what you see here, it is 10x more exciting to experience in person!

A few more photos from the evening of Vanessa and Ryan’s wedding day at the Delta Rocky Crest Resort .

As you can see, I had salmon.

Everyone’s butternut squash soup had “V + R” in it. I thought that was super cute.

A few more photos of V + R after dinner.

The photo on the right is my absolute fav of Vanessa.

A very big congratulations to Vanessa and Ryan!!

September was a VERY busy month for me this year. I photographed 6 weddings - every Saturday plus 2 Sundays. It was a little nuts.

I started off the month with Vanessa and Ryan’s wedding day on September 5th at the Delta Rocky Crest Resort in MacTier, Muskoka .  This is a lovely, peaceful and very relaxing resort.  Vanessa and Ryan had a beautiful wedding day along with perfect weather.

There are really so many images I could show, but here are just a few from their day:

P.S. In case you missed V & R’s e-session, check it out here .

Vanessa walked down the aisle with her son.

Ryan’s “Mini-Me”.

A groomsmen with quite the sense of humour.

I will be posting more photos from their wedding day soon.

Be sure to check out Vanessa and Ryan’s interview with The Muskokan Newspaper .
