Wedding in Tobermory, ON :: Bonita & Darren :: Part 1
posted December 1st, 2009 by Stacey

I LOVE Tobermory ! If you haven’t ever been there, it makes for a fabulous day trip in the summer.  It is absolutely beautiful up there in the Northern Bruce Peninsula.

I was thrilled when Bonita and Darren asked me to photograph their special day on August 22 and I was even more thrilled when I had their wedding date available.

Here is part 1 of their AWESOME wedding day!

This is Darren who was instructed NOT to wear the hat for photos.

And this is the lovely Bonita.

And this is the next Robert Redford (or someone that’s going to work for Donald Trump).

We did the majority of family photos along with photos of Bonita and Darren together before the ceremony. Our first stop was the Big Tub Lighthouse.

The famous Chi-Cheemaun Ferry means “big canoe” in the Ojibwa language. This is the most practical method of transportation to get to Manitoulin Island.

After the lighthouse, we hit China Cove Road which was awesome as well.

The ceremony took place at Mermaid’s Cove. Bonita and Darren couldn’t have selected a better location to be married at. This little place was awesome (and very secluded - it was a good hike from where we parked our cars).

Part 2 coming soon….
