It is certainly a rare occasion when I design my own albums. I usually have someone else do this for me as it requires alot of time and planning which I am usually unable to do between May and December. However, it is February and I have quite a bit of time on my hands these days!

I thoroughly enjoyed planning and designing Deanna and Scott’s (06.07.08 - Severn Lodge, Port Severn, Muskoka) 10×10 25page/50side Custom Designed Magazine Style Coffee Table Book.  I sent everything to the printers yesterday and will definitely be taking some photos of the finished product when it arrives back in 3 weeks.  In the meantime, here are the finished page spreads which I put my heart and soul into planning and designing : )

I just returned from a meeting with several local wedding photographers.  One of our familiar album suppliers was one of the sponsors of our meeting and is now carrying this absolutely fantastic line of contemporary Italian-made wedding albums.  Italian design, Italian excellence in quality, Italian technology and Italian style. Like, HELLO!!! Turquoise Leather! Who wouldn’t die for turquoise leather? This is a full grain turquoise leather on the front and back of the album along with a full grain white leather on the spine. And look at the fabulous steel band on the front with your first names engraved!!  Brilliant!  Absolutely stunning - I could eat almost eat this for breakfast (LOL)!

It comes in gold as well……

Two-toned SUEDE!!

The suede comes in black and gray as well.

Whoa! Canvas gray on the front and back cover along with cherry leather for the spine. At look at that pretty ribbon! Very romantic. Love it!

Canvas brown is available as well.  Loved this one - especially with the pink ribbon.

I’ll admit I’m on the fence about this Jacquard Brown but I wanted to include it anyways.

What do you all think? I’m jumping for joy about these new styles and to top it off, this is a Canadian supplier so we don’t have to worry about the big ol’ exchange rate when pricing an album for you. Speaking of which, the prices of these books are much less than you would think!

A variety of sizes are available in some interesting formats such as: 14×20, 14×18, 12×18, 12×16, 9×14 (and many others) along with all the regular square formats such as 10×10 and 12×12. Smaller books are available for parents - 6×9, 6×8, 7×7 and mini books are available too - 4×5, 4×6, 5×5. Jenn and Jimmy’s albums arrived earlier this week. These magazine style coffee table books are actually printed in Japan - yes the Japan on the other side of the world.

Jenn and Jimmy’s 11.5×12 20page/40side Coffee Table Book. It comes with a nice protective black case.

This is the spine of the book which is cool to have text printed on especially when it’s sitting on a book shelf.

A dust jacket is included to protect the actual cover.

Beautiful high gloss pages which are laminated to last a life time.

And these are their too cute 7×7 Parent Books! They come with a frosted case.

I jumped for joy when Katie and Pat’s wedding album arrived from one of my favourite album suppliers located in British Columbia. I was blown away with how amazing it looked! The print quality was absolutely superb. I am so happy Katie and Pat will have this heirloom for the rest of their lives.

We recently finished designing Jenn and Yuron’s 11.5×12 magazine style coffee table book. Their 30page/60side wedding book tells the entire story of their destination wedding experience at the Majestic Colonial Resort, Punta Cana, D.R. including their Trash-the-Dress Session.
