So Lindsay teaches Power Skating and has been offered a gig to teach in a few different states in the U.S. Groovy!  It is really a fantastic opportunity for her and it is great to see Lindsay follow her dreams with something she enjoys doing.  (On a side note, LIndsay is just one of many recent clients that has inspired me to get motivated to get back into shape again.  Thanks!).

I really have fun doing these types of sessions - the glamour/fashion style portraits are right up my alley.  A big thanks to Lindsay for trusting me to create these very important portraits for her as well as meeting her expectations with the final results!

I tend to go for the more “cinematic” feel being inspired by music videos and such.  Kind of like the “Harlequin Romance” novel look (although I have never read any of those books - honest).

We did K & W’s session the day after their wedding just before sunset.  I always start the session on dry land for a warm-up and to “break-the-ice” so to speak - essentially so we can get into the groove.

I so love this photo. Kate turned to the side to fluff up her dress and voila.  Her hair blowing in the wind is an added bonus, really adding to the mood of the image.

Here’s the part where things get wet, sandy and a little dirty - in a good way of course.

I think I took enough photos of Wes here so Katie could make herself a 12-month calendar. Hehehe.

Wes works at the Canada/U.S. border. So the joke here was it would be easy for Wes to get the garter because he’s use to searching people. Hahahahahaha! You had to be there, but it was funny.

There is a “party guy” at every wedding - it never fails - there is always one in the crowd at every wedding.

Almost time!

Wedding ceremony officiants.  It’s funny how the judge was wearing a 3 piece suit and didn’t appear to be sweating in the slightest (On a side note, I was impressed with his snazzy pin-stripe suit).

Dominicans are known for being very friendly people.

Evidently, everyone thought these 2 were “together”.  However, they are full-blood relatives…..brother and sister. Hehehe.  Talk about your little sister cramping your style!

This is the cutest little church on the resort property. You can opt to have your ceremony here, but you must be Catholic.

Here is the entire book from start to finish - all 26 spreads.

Ashley and Jason first met at Swiss Chalet a few years ago.  Through some mild interrogation, I found out that Jason essentially got the job at Swiss Chalet because Ashley essentially said “let’s hire him!”.  Cute!

Ashley wants at least 4 kids - Jason wants to cap it at 3.  I will be curious in a few years to find out what the verdict was : )

After we finished at Blue Mountain, we headed off to Sunset Point Park which is on the other side of Collingwood. But during the drive there, I saw how awesome this apple orchard looked and thought I would regret it if I didn’t pull over, so I did. And glad I did.

Totally digging these awesome fall colours and low light.

So once we concluded our apple orchard episode, we finished the session at Sunset Point Park - another awesome location.

I look forward to shooting Ashley and Jason’ wedding this summer!

Melanie and Michael opted for a very small celebration of under 20 people which is a different change of pace from my perspective.  Here is a snippet from their 3 hour coverage:

Michael is a firefighter in Windsor so we stopped by the firehall for a few photos. Fun!

At dusk, just before dinner was set to begin, we stopped by the beach for one last photo.

The reception was at the Harbour Street Brasserie. This is a REALLY NICE place!!!
