Andrea, Andrea, Andrea. A faithful reader of my blog and it is finally her turn to shine!

I had the privilege of photographing Andrea and Dave’s wedding on September 6 at the Waterview Resort in Wiarton and getting to know them during their engagement session in Guelph back in June.  It is fun what you learn about your couples during the e-session.

There are so many fantabulous photos I could post from their e-session - I think I might actually need to put together a little slideshow to let you see all of them, but in the meantime, here are a few from the session.

Who: Andrea and Dave
What: Engagement Session
When: June 18, 2008
Where: Guelph, ON

We started off at the Old Quebec Street Mall in Guelph.  Andrea wanted to get married here!

After a few photos at the mall, we walked the streets of Guelph and found some very cool places along the way…..

I love this one!

This is one of my fav’s of Andrea.

Andrea’s hair is naturally curly. I can certainly appreciate the effort that goes into transforming curly hair to straight hair so I did some extra photos of Andrea for this very reason - to show off the beautiful straight locks!

I’m jealous of Andrea’s teeth - LOL. (Seriously). My orthodontist tried, but I never did receive the picture perfect smile (like Andrea has) after all his persistent work.

Andrea is convinced Dave looks like a mannequin when he doesn’t smile - LOL.

Once it got dark outside, we hit one last location - Andrea and Dave’s house. I got to meet their 2 furbabies. This is Princess.

And this is Buster (a.k.a. Mr. Smoothy). Ok, there is no Photoshop work here. This is actually a HAIRLESS cat. Andrea insisted I touch him, so I did and no joke - he almost feels like velvet!  (Apparently his prominent features grow on you after a while).

Family Portrait.

Chrissy, Guy, Lola and I were finally able to get together at the end of June for our engagement session together. We rescheduled a couple of times as our schedules and the weather don’t always pan out. But we certainly did get a great day for a photo session!

That’s Lola in the middle - Chrissy and Guy’s fur-baby.

This is the photo we used for the cover of their guest signing book.

I will look forward to posting more photos from Chrissy and Guy’s wedding day that took place this past Saturday.

On Saturday I had the privilege of photographing Chrissy and Guy’s wedding day.  The ceremony was in Collingwood and the reception was at Raven Golf Club at Lora Bay.  The weather was absolutely amazing! Here is a sneak peak from the day!

As promised, snippets from Deanna and Scott’s wedding reception at Severn Lodge in Port Severn, Muskoka ON.

The food was absolutely delicious! I seem to always say that, but it was really delicious.

We took a break during dinner and did some cigar photos with Scott and his boys.

The speeches were an absolute hoot and there were many good chuckles throughout.

And some tears as well…..

Goodnight!

Congrats again to Deanna and Scott!

Back to blogging! I was away all day Sunday and Monday for the annual Professional Photographers of Ontario (PPO) Convention in Toronto. I love conventions and seminars because it keeps us photographers up-to-date on technology and trends that change so very rapidly.

I have so many awesome weddings and engagement sessions to blog about like Deanna and Scott’s wedding day below.

Little D and Scott were married on a very fun date - 06.07.08 - 678 (that’s easy for Scott to remember - LOL). It was a very warm day at Severn Lodge that day with lots of black flies to keep us alert!

Who: Deanna and “Scottie the Hottie”
What: Their Wedding Day
When: Saturday June 7, 2008
Where: Severn Lodge, Port Severn, Muskoka ON

Engagement Photos: See D & S’s e-session

Guest Signing Book: See their Guest Signing Book

Here is a snippet from their wedding day.  I will post photos from their reception in a separate post.

Deanna’s going away dress. Deanna and Scott enjoyed a honeymoon in Scotland!

Their gifts to each other.

Deanna had an absolute amazing dress with all sorts of amazing details.

Quite often I have a tough time deciding between black & white and colour. I still can’t decide on this one.

These 3 photos (above and below) are 3 of my fav’s of Little D.

So this is “Scottie the Hottie” as Deanna called Scott when she first met him.

Scottish Bling.

Deanna and all the ladies arrived to the dock via boat.  (That’s the beautiful boat in the middle).

Deanna’s dad walked Deanna down the dock aisle while the piper was piping.

I love the little wasp (or whatever that is) flying around the piper!

So Scottie the Hottie isn’t as tough as he wants us all to believe - LOL. (Just joking). He has a soft side to him and you will see more of that when I post the reception photos!

One of my fav’s of the newlyweds!
